HI AND WELCOME TO EAST LONDON SOUP, UK.

Inspired by detroitsoup.com East London Soup events crowd-fund creative community projects.

The idea is a simple one: attendees pay a small sum for entry, this gets them soup and a vote, they listen to 4 short pitches for local community projects and then discuss these ideas over soup. After dinner, everyone casts their vote and the winner leaves with the money from the door.

All projects pitched stand to gain new contacts, support and advice regardless of the outcome and the surrounding community feels the benefit of interacting with each other, becoming closer and having a say!
